Just did a quick experiment.  Hooked a set of these up to 12V supply.  I 
live in the second house from a corner.  I shined the light out the 
window, across the street, across the lot of the house on the corner, 
across the other street, onto another house two down from the corner. 
 Enough light to read the house number.

Not sure of the exact distance, but I figure that's at least 150-200 
feet, probably more.

If you are worried about the bulbs burning out, buy spares now while 
they are available.
