Hi Joseph,

It depends. If you mean the original Mini Cooper, you're probably best
off contacting these folks http://www.solarmobil.net/mini.htm. You'll
need to bring them in as kits so they can be registered. An original
Mini will be hard to find, and more effort to convert. See
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/richard.bebbington/ for Richard's very
clean conversion.

If you're talking about the new BMW Mini, getting only a few gliders
will be difficult. Car companies generally have a Special Vehicles
department where people order things like police cruisers, postal vans,
rolling truck chassis, etc. You can specify these vehicles with or
without just about anything the manufacturer has, provided there is
little or no engineering involved. If you want GM postal vans with
Corvette engines, enough of them to justify a small production run, you
can get your mail delivered Very Quickly.

The problem is volume. My guess is that anything less than maybe 50
isn't going to happen. Check with BMW America to see if they have such
a department. Maybe there's another Mini project you could tack your
order to?

Chris
