At a recent Battery Vehicle Society committee meeting, one of the members brought along a set of 50Ah Thundersky cells which he had obtained without difficulty direct from Thundersky. Hopefully some test results will soon be forthcoming. We also had Brian Harper of SEC Industrial Batteries come and talk to us. SEC have been involved with commercialising the production of the Evercel batteries and are authorised to sell them world-wide. All of the batteries are now 8 cells rather than 7. The high volume sizes (and therefore the cheapest) are the mobility aid sizes, MB15-12 and MB40-12. Production specs appear to be coming out 10-15% higher than the provisional data provided on the website.
