Just before I sold my ComutaVan, I noticed that trailer parts places (specifically Northern Tool) was carrying a trailer disk brake. Hydraulic actuated, aluminum caliper, stainless steel rotor, and pretty water resistant (so you could back it into the lake). It bolted right on in place of standard trailer brake.
