You might want to go back and re-read the post. Further down CU admits that after they mentioned the situation in their blog, their readers started making offers and they're "delighted with the results." They don't say how much they finally sold the Leaf for, though, because that would ruin the dramatic effect they're trying to convey, the very theme of their piece: "Watch out for those EVs! They're scary, too new, too different! You won't save any money, and you might even lose big bucks on depreciation!" CU appears to have an anti-EV bias. Imagine that. Actually anyone who's read their auto reviews for a while will tell you that they're abouit as biased as any of the car mags. They're just keen on value for the dollar, longevity, and their perceptions of comfort and safety, rather than innovation, speed, acceleration, and looks.
