I met with Dan several times back in the early 90's when I worked at GE. He was an EV advocate, down to earth and all around good person. Sad to see him pass at 65. Rod

I remember him about twenty years ago bringing a large charging station to an EV event at a Las Vegas casino so we could all plug in. Then on Sunday, Dan Parmley, who drove the first EV to complete the rally in 1993 honored us by driving the Tesla from Kingman to Hackberry. In recent years Dan moved on to other projects related to alternative energy and often visited Las Vegas to meet with government officials who were interested in his concepts. It was always nice to hear about what he was developing at the time, although I could sometimes not understand it. He will be missed, as a friend and an EV enthusiast.
