Look like nice chargers. But it's not clear to me whether they would work on a 96V pack. I saw some mention that it would charge at reduced DC current, but page 41/47 (graph at the bottom) of http://www.metricmind.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/10/Manual_V1.791.pdf leads me to believe that is not the case, and that 96V would receive full charging current. Metric Mind shows a 503 "lite" charger, but how that fits in with the "5x3" graph I just mentioned is unclear. Also, dimensionally these chargers look rather large.

I and my EV are probably in over our collective heads with the Brusa charger. Oh well, back to thinking about the El-Con PFC-2500, which appears to be hard to get consistent data for (different folks give me different numbers for charging currents and AC input currents). Would like to get a better charger than the Zivan K2 I have by the time of the next battery plant, which looks to be September-ish.

So, what are the sources for buying them other than from Brusa in

As far as I know, Brusa's US distributor is still Metric Mind
(metricmind.com). Their price list says that you should "inquire" after the
price of this charger.

So, these are isolated chargers?

Yes, 100% isolated switchmode chargers with high efficiency and PFC.

Also, unlike some chargers popular with EV hobbyists, they have full
regulatory approval (at least for the European markets; I don't know about
the US). This means they've passed stress tests for peak voltage, fire
resistance, and so on.

Brusa chargers are unusual in that they have the safety "chops" that OEMs'
legal departments insist on, but they aren't locked down to a particular
battery type or charge algorithm like many OEM type chargers are, though I
suppose they could be if you were an OEM and requested it.
