I expect to be selling my trike (see zwheelz.com "ZW2C") so I figured
I'd post it here first since this is where I got started. I think I
will ask $15K which is less than half the cost of the parts in the
trike. I still have the Deka gels that still have some life in them
and the whole thing can be up and running in a day or so but it needs
three things corrected and really should have a lithium pack so this
is more of a builder project than a turn-key vehicle.

The issues were 1) drive belt skipping. The lead sled was too heavy
for the drive belt sizes. There are off-the shelf larger belts and
pulleys that should bolt on and solve this problem. 2) bump steer. I
extended the tie rod ends instead of the rack and it has noticeable
bump steer. The rack can be widened or the frame narrowed (or both).
3) ground clearance. It had 2000 lbs of lead in a 1000 lb frame
(rolling chassis). Air shocks or lithium will fix that. There are
also a lot of details to finish so this is definitely for somebody
with a shop.

It has a 100kW MES drive, 1kW MES DC/DC, Brusa charger and Metric Mind
EVision. Well over $15K of parts right there but it has nice wheels
and tires, Heidts Hotrod chrome "open wheel" front end with Wilwood
calipers and larger drilled discs, Corbeau seats, belt drive housing
and Harley tranny, steering column, steering wheel, shifter, in-dash
PC, Wilwood brake assembly, lights, horn, etc. I have a Lee Hart
BatBal for the gels. The 2" chromo tubing cage needs to be finished
but it's removable.

Overall it drove well and turned heads on the streets and highways for
about three years before I started on the second version (now on the
third). It can cruise at 70+ mph with the lead (288 volt system).

I still have the Sunrise chassis parts for free also.
