Mike,
Only if you gang them mechanically together, so they always open
together, will you gain from series connection of breakers.
Do not worry about the higher voltage at charging - the 250A breaker
will
only be needed to protect your pack while you are drawing from it, i.e.
driving, not while charging (unless you have regen). 50 LiFePO4 means
3.2V each, so 160V, charged up to 3.45V peak so 172V max? I don't think
you should worry about the few volts higher, but if you do not like to
push your luck then gang your two breakers together and that way ensure
you can break up to 320V.
