I would assume Tesla may have an issue with a non-Tesla using a
supercharger EVSE, as Tesla asks buyers to pay for access on some models
(on some Tesla models access is included). To me that makes good
business sense to ensure the costs in using a Tesla supercharger get
covered.

Perhaps if an adapter were made for a CHAdeMO to charge off a
supercharger EVSE, Tesla could offer a use-fee program, which I would
have no progrma paying (you want it, you pay for it). I would also
assume, Tesla would want their EVs to have priority over non-Tesla EVs.
