Set to debut at Auto China 2014, the production model closely resembles the Denza concept that was introduced at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. The company declined to release details but we can see it will be a five-door hatchback that has a prominent grille and distinctive headlights. The model also has a rounded roofline and a number of Mercedes-sourced components. Specifications remain a mystery but Daimler confirmed the model has undergone extensive testing ahead of its launch next year. The company also said the first Denza dealership will open in Beijing in mid-2014 and will be joined by other dealerships in Shanghai and Shenzhen.
