Traditionally, you will get the most money back out of your used EV's by 
parting them out.  It's hard to do.  We would all rather find our old EVs a 
loving new home where they will get a fresh start :) If I were in your 
position, especially with young kids I would sell both homegrown EV's for the 
most you can get out of them and purchase an OEM EV.  Be sure that you test 
drive some first though.  You may hop in a Leaf and decide you do not like it, 
and if your old EVs are already gone...
