The love is great but does the math work for $15 vs $250?

With our i-Miev I think a full charge is about $3 if we get 80 miles on that 
(summer not winter).

27 miles for a dollar.

With a car getting 20 mpg at $4/gal (for sake of easy math) 5 miles per dollar.

5.4 times more for gas than electricity.

So $15 electricity x 5.4 = $81 dollars gas.

How do you get to $250?

Granted oil and maint add up, but I doubt it is more than 10% of the cost of 
gas.
