[I hope our UK evdl member's correct me if I am in error ...]

I saw a BBC (TV) report on PBS of how much the Queen enjoys her Land
Rover Defender ice as she tours the royal properties. The show I saw was
on property in Scotland that needed the Rover's abilities. While on
Royal lands, she was unescorted (sometimes on her own, unlike the U.S.
President being escorted everywhere). The gal is quite a "doer" (she
gets things done, one of the definitions of "get 'er done"), getting out
and about. Here is her driving her rover:

A newswire sez she had her ride pimped out:

£80,000 makeover of the Queen's favourite 4x4 ...

If the above newswire is right, IMO I wouldn't want to ask the UK
citizens to have her dump the ice for an EV (enough money has been spent
already)

I have a news item I will be posting later of how a transportation DPM
states UK's commitment on electrification (charging infrastructure,
regs, +more). With that in mind, perhaps for the Queen's next vehicle,
taking in her interests and how & where she drives, perhaps a Land Rover
Defender pih. where if there is any pimping done to that one, I would
ask that it have at least a 100mi e-range before the ice kicks in, &
type3/L3 charging ability.
