And if you're not confident there will be more EV choices in the future, why would renting one by the month for almost less than I would pay in gas for my commute be a bad idea? I can understand why someone who sells conversions would think it's a bad idea and having been here since 2004, I know people here have long memories for things like the EV1 fiasco, Thundersky deals gone bad, lithium battery fires (and even continuing skepticism about lithium batteries in general) but how can anyone be pessimistic about the future of EV's given the changes in the last five or so years? Yes, it could all evaporate again as it has in the past but it doesn't seem likely given that Tesla wants to spend a billion dollars building a US battery factory. Even a certifiable Cheap Yankee like myself has to look on the bright side once in a while ;>) . rant mode off -- View this message in context: http://electric-vehicle-discussion-list.413529.n4.nabble.com/lease-rebates-tp4668469p4668476.html Sent from the Electric Vehicle Discussion List mailing list archive at Nabble.com. _______________________________________________ UNSUBSCRIBE: http://www.evdl.org/help/index.html#usub http://lists.evdl.org/listinfo.cgi/ev-evdl.org For EV drag racing discussion, please use NEDRA (http://groups.yahoo.com/group/NEDRA)
