Your point is well taken, but for me it is economics.  I didn't save much
for retirement and so not I cannot afford many things as I try to sock it
away.  When full size EVs get to where I can afford them (used, with lot's
of life left in them)  I will be all on board.  For now I have to go with
the OT ELF.

It is just now, and with the availability of the Leaf at dealer cost, that
there any reason at all for me to consider it.  The Leaf doesn't serve my
need for what is essentially a small truck, the early model xB; which with
roof racks allows me to bring home 16 foot lumber from the building supply
store, or pack the rear compartment (no seats in there) with incredible
amounts of crap.

I can only haul 350lb of cargo on the ELF.  A trailer would really do it
