Mike, You must have received this sticker before CARB started re-interpreting the law. My previous EV also received its white stickers, I believe in 2006. In 2011 I applied for white stickers for my current EV and was denied, even though the vehicle is registered as EV (fuel "E") by DMV, the explanation being that only vehicles on the list of manufacturer-qualified vehicles can receive (new) stickers.
