New York-based Nicholas said, “There’s a lot happening at Tesla in vehicle development, the giga factory battery initiative and our efforts to expand distribution.” He also discussed Tesla’s plans to extend its direct sales business model into Connecticut. Leo Cirino, club president, announced there will be a Tesla model X, in addition to the model S and Roadster, in the fourth annual electric car club rally on May 1.
