Last weekend I went to the Austin NDEW:

Willie wisely didn't as this is the rainy season. "Sho'nuff" it was too wet
and rainy, the public stayed away, and the NDEW coordinator canceled the
EVent. There were some EV/plugin die-hards there (like me), and in between
the rain drops we networked.
I did learn some things, one of which was that the San Antonio (sa) NDEW
that was also to happen that same day (9/15) was postponed to the following
(this 9/22) Saturday

So, the effort wasn't a total loss. I'd been waiting a year to go to another
NDEW (last year I went to their sa NDEW).
I am hoping to be at this Saturday's sa NDEW, rain or shine
(have walker/rollator, will EVangel)
