Check out plugshare.com, or the plugshare mobile app for locations of chargers. If you buy a LEAF with the DC fast charge connector, and if there is a fast charge station on the way, you won't have to charge long. There is a Seattle area LEAF owner's group on Facebook that is very helpful. I'm sure people there will be familiar with the route you need to take.
