Have you looked inside at the HV connections?  Any scorching on the wires?

I remember that with the original HPWC's people were mentioning that it was
hard to seat and torque the larger gauge wiring sufficiently.  Ended up
with failed HPWC's and burnt wiring.  Don't know if they fixed it with the
current iteration of HPWC's.
