I don't think 16vdc is a good charging voltage for a 12v lead battery. I think
I have possibly zorched some batteries. I had a buddy pair of Genesis 13EP 12v
that would charge and the green light came on. Seemed they tolerated it. But I
hit my Leaf batteries and they zoomed easily to 16vdc so obviously fully
charged. The single Genesis which I have about 10 one shows a bloated cell.
Wondering if a resistor blew in the charger. Used to work great. Lawrence Rhodes
