Haha, thanks for sharing, the story was indeed funny. I'm glad to hear that everyone involved went through the experience in good spirits.
I've had need to take a number of trips to places off the beaten path (although not so isolated as Ekalaka) recently. While I haven't needed to charge before getting back to an urban area, I can easily imagine a different itinerary where I would need to do so. Therefore, building up rural charging options is a little bit higher up on my list than that of the bean counters.
