These are common now, I expect Tesla will disable them soon with a software
update because most are really poor quality and dangerous because there is
no galvanic isolation.

They initiate a CCS fast charge session by pretending they are a DCFC
station, and when the car closes it's DCFC contactors, they simply route
the DC to a direct buck non-isolated H-bridge to make AC at 120 or 240v.

Note that this only works on 2021+ Teslas or 3/Y with the CCS modem upgrade.

Teslas will currently set a fault if they see more  than 15Ah of discharge
while supposedly in DCFC mode.

Tesla also voids your battery warranty if you do any kind of stationary
export, so probably best not to use a device like this on a car still under
battery warranty.

Again, The Tesla is not doing V2L directly, the device is inverting the DC
from the car itself.
