I'd be very interested in learning the specifics of the solution. Sounds great, 
but the article doesn't say anything about how they plan on achieving the goals.

There will always be some minuscule hazard of a small electrical fire or some 
closed space getting over-pressure and bursting. It is impossible reduce all 
risks to zero. In a violent car accident, the stored energy will certainly find 
a way to cause a fire in some instances.

I've often said that if glass were invented today, there is no way it would be 
permitted to be used in car windows, or especially in eyeglasses!
