Congrats on your conversion, I'd love to see more!

No manufacturers ever release DBCs for their cars.

Secondly, a DBC is going to allow you to parse the CAN data, but it doesn't
let you reprogram ECUs.

You'll likey need to spoof the missing ECUs by building a CAN injector that
sends enough of the missing frames to satisfy the other ECUs that care.   A
non-trivial exercise!
