Sheesh, are you driving a car or a financial website? That's nuts. If your car has to phone home regularly like that, I'm not sure you really own it. I think the manufacturer owns it. They just let you drive it - for now. I'm glad you like your EV. For me, the gadgetry wouldn''t be worh it, but to each his own. Me, I'm happy with a normal car that drives normally and has most of the normal controls in the normal places, and just happens to use electricity instead of gasoline.
