Hello, all. Four bugs received branches during the Hack-Away that I think warrant discussion regarding a future OpenSRF release:
Python binding for OpenSRF and Evergreen https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1827055 Removal of OpenSRF and Evergreen Java Libraries https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1827051 Ubuntu 20.04 (Focal Fossa) support https://bugs.launchpad.net/evergreen/+bug/1875544 Remove Installation Support for Ubuntu 16.04 Xenial Xerus https://bugs.launchpad.net/opensrf/+bug/1901899 The above don't seem to me to be the sort of thing that we'd add in a bug fix point release, i.e. 3.2.2. Even though they mostly remove code and configuration, I would think that they warrant a new release, 3.3.0. The bugs listed above have branches for both OpenSRF and Evergreen. I took the liberty of targeting the Evergreen branches at 3.7-beta. I did not target the OpenSRF branches since there is presently no 3.3 target. I think it would be useful to have some discussion before creating one.
