Hello all, The Evergreen Project Standing Conference Committee is pleased to announce that it is now accepting proposals for sessions at the 2025 Evergreen Online Conference. The 2025 online conference (November 12-15) will center around the theme of “Emerging Technologies” and will feature Nick Tanzi, creator of https://the-digital-librarian.com and Assistant Director of South Huntington Public Library, as the Keynote Speaker.
We’re excited about Nick’s presentation, but we’re also excited to hear and learn more about what is going on in YOUR area(s) of interest/expertise. Please submit your ideas for one or more pre-conference or regular conference sessions using the linked form <https://forms.gle/oLBGuRLhBBAP1FpP9>. Please consider some general guidelines when thinking about and preparing your proposal(s). - Pre-conference sessions will occur on Monday, May 12, 2025, and last 1.5-2 hours. These sessions are usually moderately interactive and may have more of a workshop feel than a lecture or panel discussion. - Regular conference sessions will occur on Tuesday or Wednesday, May 13 or 14, 2025, and may last either 30 or 60 minutes. - Panel discussions may be submitted for a 60 minute session. Known panelists should be included in the Additional Information field of the form. The deadline to submit session proposals for the 2025 Online Evergreen Conference is* Friday, January 31, 2025*. If you have any questions, please contact me or another member of the Standing Conference Committee directly. *Ruth Frasur Davis, Coordinator* *Evergreen Community Development Initiative* https://evergreencdi.org (650) 265-1193
