Hi, As I mentioned in November [1], Launchpad is becoming untenable as a platform for managing the translation of Evergreen's non-Angular interfaces. Since we need to find a replacement, I am calling for short-term working group to do the following:
- Come up with a statement of all that we need or might desire in tooling to manage translations and localizations of Evergreen - Investigate applicable tools and services - Where feasible, conduct trials of one or more tools - Make a recommendation for tools and/or services for the product to adopt Members of the working group should have an interest in translations or the translation infrastructure and availability to meet at least three or four times over the next few months. People who have direct experience actually translating Evergreen would be particularly welcome. While we can make do in the short term with Launchpad, I think we will need to plan on working quickly so that the new infrastructure is in place well before the release of 3.17 in the spring. If you are interested in joining the working group, please let me know or reply on this thread.
