Evergreen does expose APIs that would allow OCLC to answer the question
"does library X currently have available copies of for title Y?" In fact,
Evergreen's Z39.50 server could be configured to support that. If their
real-time availability check doesn't currently support Evergreen - and OCLC
wishes to improve their product by adding such support - we could provide
technical details of how to make it happen.
