Subject: Re: [Evergreen-general] Angular

Hi,

Not a dumb question. Angular (https://angular.dev/<https://angular.dev/>) is a
programming framework for building web applications that is used for most of
Evergreen's staff interface. The web staff interface previously used a
different framework called AngularJS that was the predecessor of Angular;
AngularJS was deprecated.

The staff interface has been moved from AngularJS to Angular in a piecemeal
fashion over the past few years, which is why the release notes for the past
few releases have been talking about how specific interfaces have been moved to
Angular or "Angularized". In some cases, moving a particular interface to
Angular has been taken as an opportunity to do some rework of how the interface
functions, as was the case with Angular Record Buckets.

Regards,

Galen

This is probably a dumb question, but could someone explain what "Angular"
means in Evergreen? When the talk about "Angular Record Buckets" I know what it
looks like and how it looks different than the old way, but what does the
"angular" part mean?

Thanks,
Tessa

Written correspondence to or from the Town of Hanover, its officials, and
employees regarding town business is a governmental document, and is generally
subject to public disclosure under NH RSA 91-A, the Right to Know Law. Though
there are certain limited exceptions, you should assume that written
correspondence is a public record, regardless of whether the correspondence is
to or from a “hanovernh.org<http://hanovernh.org>” email address, another email
address, or another platform/website.
