Hello, Evergreen community!

For those who do not know me I am BJ Colvin the Director of ITS at the King
County Library system and I am thrilled to reach out as your host for the 2026
Evergreen International Conference, and I have to tell you, we are so excited
to welcome you to the Pacific Northwest!

Our theme this year is "Evergreen Forward: Anticipate. Innovate. Elevate." and
that is exactly what we have planned. This is going to be an incredible
opportunity to connect, learn, and shape the future of Evergreen together. The
energy at in-person conferences is something special, and we have been working
hard to make this one unforgettable.

We will have more announcements coming very soon around the conference
schedule, social events and keynote speaker so please stay tuned!
I wanted to also take this opportunity to remind you that Early Bird
registration ends February 28, which is just a few weeks away! If budget might
be a constraint lock in that $300 rate now and start making your travel plans.
=D

If you have never been to the Pacific Northwest in spring, you are in for
something magical. Picture yourself taking in views of Mount Rainier, walking
along the shores of Lake Washington, and experiencing the stunning greenery
that makes this region famous. April is when everything comes alive here, and
the Hyatt Regency Lake Washington sits right on the waterfront. Trust me when I
tell you that it is worth building in some extra time to explore.

The Details:
Early Bird Registration (through February 28): $300 for the full conference
Wednesday, April 8: Pre-conference workshops and hackfests
Thursday through Saturday, April 9 to 11: Main conference sessions
Hotel: Hyatt Regency Lake Washington at Seattle's Southport (book here -
https://www.hyatt.com/en-US/group-booking/SEARL/G-EVE1)
Conference Website:

We are putting our hearts into planning this event and we genuinely cannot wait
to see you here. Come for the learning, stay for the community, and let us show
you why we love calling the PNW home.

See you in April!
