Sorry about the late reply, I got distracted. Two cases: https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1026335 Leap421, I ran a zypper patch and the system no longer booted correctly. It's due to multipathing being started too early. https://bugzilla.opensuse.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1006175 Leap421 - zypper dup to Leap422 changed the hardware support and suddenly my disk controller was no longer supported.
