Now Elon is campaigning for Trump and saying extreme things to

(like all political operators). But from what he says in calmer
moments I guess his position is similar to mine: Trump can be
bad, but
the alternative is worse.
Trump is a clear and present danger to democracy in America. Other

that, a minor consideration, he's a good choice for morons like

And I haven’t said that Trump is a good choice (he was my least
favorite of the Republican candidates, both in 2016 and now), only
that the other choice is worse.
And why do you think the other choice is worse? Because she will
support Ukraine? Because she won't impose new tariffs? Because she
won't use the U.S. military to suppress "the enemy within". She won't
replace all high level civil servants with Trump loyalists?
