Dear all,
I'm interested in porting components, or all of the evolution
applications into small handheld devices such as iPAQ.
I'm not sure how feasible this is, as the amount of running and
storage memory of handheld devices are really limited (Say for iPAQ, it
has about 16MB storage and 64MB running memory).
Evolution depends heavily in gnome libraries and stuffs, which is
a problem as those libraries are usually large. And so a lot of work will
have to be done to gnome libraries too in order to make them smaller.
It will be good if I can have a rough idea whether this is
possible or not. Answers could be something like "no way", or "possible
but a really huge amount of work has to be done", or "a five-minute job".
Any advices, suggestions or recommendations would be much
appreciated.
