OK, I grabbed ORBit from cvs and when I run autogen.sh it says:
This branch of ORBit is deprecated. Don't use it.
If I request "ORBit-0.5.8" I get:
cvs server: cannot find module `ORBit-0.5.8' - ignored
cvs [checkout aborted]: cannot expand modules
Browsing the CVS tree at cvs.gnome.org via Bonsai doesn't yield any
further clues...
I took a look at ORBit2 but that seems to be version 2.3.90 according
to grep'ing for VERSION in the root directory (answers from within
configure.in).
Perchance the CVS tree could use a little housekeeping so that it's
actually possible to find the current ORBit under the name ORBit? In
the meantime, where should I really be looking?
Regards, Bevis,
