so i downloaded today's snapshot through red carpet and now i can't
compose anything.
when i hit return in the body of a message i get:
"app 'gnome-gtkhtml-editor' has crashed due to a fatal error", etc etc
i figured it be a good time to download the sources through cvs and start
fixing obvious stuff (well, stuff that irks me anyhow).
i have the evolution, gal, and gthtml modules from html.
i tried to:
/source/evol/evolution/autogen.sh --prefix=/usr --sysconfdir=/etc
and i get:
configure: error:
You need Bonobo 1.0.3 or higher to build Evolution
If you think you already have this installed, consult the README.
but i do have bonobo:
bonobo-1.0.4-ximian.2
i peeked inside the configure script it was running and i see:
gnome-config --libs $pkgname (where pkgname = "bonobox").
and sure enough, it's pooping out:
culebra:~/source/evol/evolution$ gnome-config --libs bonobox
Unknown library `bonobox'
clues, ideas, suggestions? is this the preferred way of building?
