Nope. It's actually to turn the "preview pane" (sic) on/off.

The IDL was written before the code was, and assumed that we were just
going to clone Outlook's interface. (I'm not sure exactly what makes it
a "preview" in Outlook, although I believe you can't respond to meeting
requests from the preview pane, for instance.)

No, just ignore it. At some point when we deal with adding IDL
interfaces to the mailer, it will get implemented, renamed, or removed
as needed.
