Starting Tuesday July 6th, 2004 at noon EST, patch review mode will be
in effect:

* Every patch will be sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] in the form
of a unified diff (cvs diff -u) and include a relevant bug number if
possible in the subject of the message

* Every patch will have to be on the list for at least 24 hours before
  being committed. A week-end (Saturday+Sunday) counts as a single
  24-hour day. [1]

* Core maintainers are required to give their opinion on the bug in the
  24 hour period.

* Core maintainers are defined as follows:

        Addressbook:
                Chris Toshok <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
Hans Petter Jennson <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

        Calendar:
                JP Rosevear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
                Rodrigo Moya <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

        GtkHTML:
                Radek Doulik <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
                Larry Ewing <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

        Mailer:
                Jeffrey Stedfast <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
                Michael Zucchi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

        Shell:
                JP Rosevear <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
                Michael Zucchi <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>

        GAL:
Any of the maintainers listed above

* Once the patch has been committed, it is repsonsibility of the person
who commits to:

        - Close the corresponding bug on Bugzilla.

        - Write to the mailing list, replying to the original message
containing the patch to inform the other hackers that the
          patch has been committed.

[1] Note the main important change from previous releases is that not
even core maintainers can commit with out approval from another core
maintainer even after 24 hours.
