Seems like instead of providing yet another reply option you'd want to hack on the compose editor so that the signature isn't a "real" part of the email. Perhaps making the signature editable only if the cursor is moved into the signature section or if the mouse is clicked in the section. This way you can use ctrl-a , del to delete the entire reply but not effect your signature. Same net effect, but you don't add the extra reply option which might be confusing.
