Hi, In evolution-2.3.x there is no option for setting the mode of text, through which we can set the HTML mode to one of these options "Show HTML if Present/Prefer PLAIN/Only ever show PLAIN". This option is available at Edit->Preferences->Mail Preferences->HTML Mail in evolution-2.2.x.
