Evo ML, Would it be difficult to put into the build rules of not only evolution but of gal, gtkhtml, etc, the way to create the rpms, deb, and other package management formats that are released to the world? Or maybe I missed the rule scanning the Makefile. Makefile rules are like perl scripts: there are million ways to do the same thing. Unless you wrote it you will probably have a hard time figuring what a script does unless you closely study it. :-) If nothing else it would be handy to have binaries bits "installed" via the package management software instead of just copying stuff into the right directories. It keeps the package management database saner too. Every time I go to Red Carpet to update other software I cringe because there is a real possiblity that support libraries like gal and gtkhtml are going to be overwritten.
