Hello!

Just curious if the disparity in function names was an intentional
design decision or a run-of-the-mill inconsistency. Hmmmm?
I think that is because config_read() is an internal API, used by mail-config,c only; whereas mail_config_write() is a public API used by other files in the source tree.

In general, I think the GNOME style is to have name_ as a prefix for public APIs: such as name_some_action() and some_action() for internal APIs.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Duncan.
