I can reliably reproduce something like this with Caret Mode. When
viewing a mail, Evo jumps to the bottom of that mail every time for me.
(This of course makes no difference for short messages that fit entirely
into the mail view pane.)
Michael, do you happen to have Caret Mode enabled by any chance? Try
disabling it.

My observation isn't related to Exchange at all, but to the length of
mails and enabled Caret Mode. Even if this is not your issue, it is a
usability bug. Caret Mode simply is broken. *sigh* Andre, remember
anything like this?
