I can barely go an hour without this happening to my inbox. I basically just leave it truncated all the time now unless there's some specific reason I think I might need older email. As I've said before, I have up-to-date SVN, debug-enabled, non-optimized Evo running and I'm relatively handy with a debugger etc. If anyone wants to work with me on some directed bug tracking I'm happy to spend the effort. There's also http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=442098 which is my other big pain-point in Evo these days.
