I guess you have to take well with a small grain of salt...

The Mac Address Book can synch with Google Contacts. I then directed
evolution to synch with Google Contacts.

It worked fairly well except that all contacts that I had marked
as 'Company' in the Mac Address Book showed up without a name
by the time they arrived on the boxen running Evolution.

The company name field had moved to a field that was not displayed
as the main name.

I did some pasting into the name field in Google contacts and
that seems to have helped ( but "A B C" displays as "C A" ).
