Hello Eddie,

Evolution can "sync" contact information from your Google mail account.

I personally sync my contacts between Evolution and GMail and it works
well. However I use Evolution as a read-only recipient of the contact
data. Meaning I do not create or edit contact information very often in
Evolution.
