Hello Dan! It must be a Mint problem because it doesn't happen to me. I have Evolution 3.2.3 on Fedora 16 with Cinnamon, KDE and Gnome and it doesn't happen. When I had 3.2.2 neither. In KDE have some issues but it is not specifically this.
