Hi all,

I've been trying for a while now, to get my gmail account working through
IMAPX. The situation is this:

-Fresh Arch Linux install

-Tried to set up gmail over IMAPX (and IMAP) either manually or through
gnome-online-accounts, and messed around with all kind of configs. To this
point: Documents work, Empathy works, Calendar and contacts work, Mail
never works (of course, IMAP is enabled in gmail).

- Gnome Version 3.4.2, Evolution version 3.4.3.

Specifically I'd like you to point me to which things I can do or test in
order to solve this problem. Running:

CAMEL_DEBUG=imapx evolution >& evo.log turns out to be:

** (evolution:5662): WARNING **: Could not connect to imap.gmail.com:
Network address is presently unreachable

(evolution:5662): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: invalid unclassed pointer in
cast to `GObject'

(evolution:5662): GLib-GObject-CRITICAL **: g_object_unref: assertion
`G_IS_OBJECT (object)' failed

But no specific errors about imapx.

Running evolution with gdb, shows up the imapx calls, but I haven't
compiled with debugging symbols. Would it be useful to do so ? Evolution as
a whole ? the so called evolution-data-server ?

If there are any other things I can test first (perhaps related to the
network), it would be better, since this is my work machine and I won't
have the time to compile again till into some days.

Thanks a lot in advance, and I expect to help in devel of evolution in the
future.

Regards
Claudio
